History
Paul visited his wife Pam at her quilting shop one day and found her piecing a quilt with a cone of thread laying on it's side in a tupperwareish container, unrolling up through a loop in a nearby lamp and then into her sewing machine.

Paul said "this is a quilting business isn't it?". To which Pam answered "yes?".

Paul commented that the thread situation didn't look very professional and was promptly informed how hard it is to get a quality cone thread holder. Pam asked Paul if he could make her one that didn't tip over and he said he would be happy to. As Paul was leaving Pam mentioned that maybe he could put a flower on it!

Coneflowers were born!
